Senior Project.Field-, laboratory- or library-based geological research to address an original question undertaken by arrangement with a faculty supervisor during the senior year. Students conducting field or laboratory research generally start their work in the summer prior to their senior year. Half-course each semester. Grade and credit awarded at the end of the second semester. (Students may complete the thesis in one semester by permission.) Letter grade only.
